Up for sale is a vintage album page, signed by Clyde Sukeforth. Sukeforth played a role in baseball history, as he was the only other person present with Jackie Robinson and Branch Rickey with the color line in baseball was broken and they signed Jackie. He also served as interim manager of the Dodgers during that season. This is a nice autograph, penned just a few years after that historic event. Autograph page was part of a vintage collection of mostly baseball and football autographs that were obtained by a young boy named Jimmy Fink in the Chicago Area during the 1949-1955 period, of which I purchased in it's entirety and will be listing over the coming week.
